Sounds From The Desert is a Live Stage Musical Production, which is an exclusive IP owned by ShowCase Events. 

It won the prestigious “Best Young IP Less Than Three Years” at the BusinessWorld Applause Awards Summit.

It focuses on the true soul of Rajasthani Folk music in a unique Live format, with different instruments and folk songs presented in a theatrical pattern. The experience takes you on a journey across the sands of Rajasthan with traditional, lesser-known instruments playing folk songs, rendered by 19 amazing musicians under the leadership of multi-instrumentalist and vocalist par excellence, Kutle Khan. Backing him are musicians from legendary families such as Nathulal Solanki from the Solankis of Pushkar on Nagaras, Darre Khan of Jaisalmer on the Khamaycha carrying forward the legacy of the instrument. Other musicians on instruments like the Khartal, Morchang, Bhapang, Algooza, Dholak and Sindhi Sarangi hail from Bikaner, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Jaipur. The traditional folk dance, the Ghoomar, is presented by the famous Sapera family ladies.

The Show premiered in Mumbai at the Royal Opera House and was also performed in Delhi at the Siri Fort Auditorium. It has been received very well, with great reviews from the audience, the press and senior music journalists.
